About Dr. Nielsen
Dr. Nielsen is a foot and ankle specialist residing in the Amarillo, TX area. He grew up in Omaha, NE. After high school he served a 2 year religious mission in Mexico where served the people of Monterrey, Mexico and learned to speak spanish. He then attended and graduated from Utah Valley University with his undergraduate degree.
Dr. Nielsen received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and then completed his surgical training in Tampa, FL. His practice focuses on relieving foot and ankle pain with minimally invasive, in-office procedures.
Dr. Nielsen is married to his wife of 13 years and is father of two girls. He loves to spend time with his family, serve in his church, and travel to as many theme parks as possible in his spare time.
